Every Halloween we buy big bags of candy and no one comes. We live in a great neighborhood full of children but it seems that because of the atmosphere out "there" that fewer and fewer kids go door to door for candy. It's much safer to take your kids to the local mall or stores who give candy out to the kids.
Oh well, less candy to give out, more for me!

After several years of no one coming to the door I gave up on buying candy. Should someone ever come a'knockin I figure I could always hand out a can of soup or a bag of ramen noodles!
